The Easebuzz Research & Innovation Lab is aimed at pioneering cutting-edge advancements in the payments industry. It serves as the frontier arm of Easebuzz, focused on exploring emerging technologies, crafting strategies, validating new ideas, and building prototypes designed to unlock the next phase of growth for the organization.

Role Overview

As a part of the Easebuzz Research and Innovation Lab, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with CXOs and contribute to strategic decision-making. You'll join an agile, forward-thinking team committed to driving innovation with a long-term perspective—aligned with Easebuzz’s vision of becoming a leading global player in the payments FinTech space.

Team: Easebuzz Research and Innovation Lab

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead strategic planning, market research, and industry benchmarking to identify new business opportunities and innovation areas.

·       Assess emerging business models and conduct feasibility studies for new financial products and use cases.

·       Design and manage end-to-end innovation programs—from ideation to prototype development—in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

·       Develop go-to-market strategies for successful prototypes, including preparatory work for licensing and regulatory compliance where needed.

·       Participate in hackathons and regulatory sandbox programs to solve real-world problems identified by leading organizations.

·       Write and publish insightful reports and articles on emerging trends and innovations in the payments sector.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or Economics from Tier I/II institutions.

·       3–4 years of experience in business strategy, gained through consulting, corporate roles, market research, or innovation labs.

·       Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem, including card payments, fast payment systems, API banking, and cross-border payments.

·       Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

Familarity with regulatory frameworks related to payments and other Fintech domains is a strong advantage.
